LINDA VALENTINA AVRAMIDES

Linda studied Fine Arts Honours at the University of Sydney, then majored in traditional drawing techniques for the Art Certificate at Hornsby Technical College. In 1986, she was commissioned to write ‘Fashion Australia, Vol 3’, a compendium of contemporary Australian fashion and later, became a fashion journalist, her illustrations also featuring in various fashion publications. As advertising copywriter, she achieved finalist in the New York Festival of Writers Advertising award. Today, she is a designer, writer and style consultant. Linda's fashion illustrations continue to draw inspiration from the great beauties of the last century, women who revered style as a reflection of their inner beauty, grace and femininity. She is inspired by the premise that Coco Chanel first coined, ‘a girl should be two things: classy and fabulous’.
